What about us?
Hello, thank you for being here! So let’s talk about us!
I am Valeria, founder of Seta photography. I’m a wedding and lifestyle photographer in Venice since 2014 and in 2018 I decided to get my team grown up. I already had two photographers working with me, Giada and Beatrice, but sometimes it happens to have two or more events the same day.
So, what could I do? And what about Seta?
I realized that, even if we have different style and way of representing it, we want the same things as photographers:
- We want to know you before the shooting, so we can tell your story in the best and most realistic way!
- We want to follow your story and your idea. Often customers follow the photographer’s decision, and it’s not our way of working. You can decide! You can be a part of it!
- We look for legance and beauty in all their forms!
So we decided to search for other photographers to create a team of “destination photographers” based in Venice. Now we are five, and we can cover different events all around the world.
We are specialized in wedding photoshoot, couple shootings, family and elopement sessions in Venice, but we can follow you wherever your story will take us!
But... Why Seta?
About Seta: Seta is an Italian word that means silk, and silk is refined, is beautiful, is something delicate on your skin. And we had four other reasons to call us this way:
- S, like shoot. Taking pictures is our way of telling, our pen on the sheet. With the camera, in a shoot, we tell your story, we describe your feelings.
- E, like emotions. What we do is not a cold picture with a static pose in a background. We want to capture the sparkle in your eyes and a true smile of happiness in your face.
- T, like Travel. We may live in the most romantic and beautiful city in the world, but every city can be that romantic if you have sweet memories in it.
- A, like Amore. Amore means love: love for our work, love for this city, for the people, for travel… Amore is the only Italian word in Seta, why? Because it is international and everyone knows what amore means! And Italy is the country of love! We have romantic cities such as Venice, Florence and Rome! Uh, did you know that Rome in Italian is Roma? And try reading Roma on the contrary, yes… Amor.
Meet the Team
Beatrice
Beatrice is a Venice photographer, a wife and mother.
Being a mother developed in her a greater sensitivity about emotions, and toward the joy of growing a child the beauty of a family.
Specialized in photo-tours in Venice, Beatrice has been part of the team since 2016.
Ilaria
Ilaria is a portrait photographer from Genoa near Cinque Terre, and moved to Venice for love.
She likes to create impactful memories that are able to excite people even after a long time. She loves taking photos of real stories, babies and "mothers to be".
Nicole
Nicole is an architect but her true passion is photography. She lives between Venice and the Dolomites, and she’s deeply in love with details and experimenting something new. Her favourite subjects are people, she loves shooting with newborns, kids and families.
